Ms. Polly's Chocolate Cake

The best chocolte cake I ever tasted, we bought it in a gas station in magallanes. Unusual place to find a yummy dessert. The price is reasonable.

I can eat the whole 8x8 inch cake in one sitting, its dark, sweet and moist. Yummy talaga, its a taste to remember...

Laser Tag...

Thanks to "How I met your mother", that's where I saw Laser tag, well thanks to toj and gary for generously giving us a copy of this US TV series...
july 9, 2009, after work we went to market market to try laser tag, but we went home first to changed, put on our battle gear, hehehe basically comfy outfit that will allow you to move(stay away from white outfit)... thanks to MJ and Shiela for patiently waiting for us... (wala kaseng pants yung isa... kaya matagal... peace!!! )
Everybody is sobrang excited, they made a bet pa that I will be the lowest scorer. Ganun na nga nangyari, though I ranked 11th of 12, still I'm 50 points behind shiela and 100 points behind MJ, Toj ranked 2nd and Gary got the highest score... Deym! kulelat na nga, nadapa pa... huhuhu... In my defense, its really dark inside the arena, there are specks of paint on some walls, laser lights on some areas and neon lights on our vest. I even hit the wall a couple of times(poor blind guy). I cant recognize my team mate, I just basically shoot everything that moves... Then you'll just hear MJ's voice, "ako to, kampi tayo", I think she hide in one corner for the whole 15 minutes (and I can hear her saying "wait lang! wait lang")... hehehe peace!!!

I wasn't able to choose a cool name, I got "Lithos". well what the heck... its really addicting and super fun...(its like playing baril-barilan when I was a little kid)... Its also a good workout, You should do some stretching before the game to avoid injuries. hehehe...
The game is not free, its 170 pesos on mon - thur and 190pesos on fri - sunday... Its a 15 minute game, you'll get a free iced tea if you ranked 1. Laxer Xtreme is in market market 4th floor....

Sonya's Garden again...

We went to tagaytay just to experience Sonya's Garden, it was my boss's debut(senior citizen card holder na sya...). Medyo naligaw lang kame ng konti lang kase naiwan sa office yung map... We ask people along the way na lang...

Maganda yung place, fine dining ang setting pero para ka lang kumakain sa garden...

Sosyalan ang setting kaya maraming bloopers:

Ang dami plato, kala namin yung small plate para sa bread yun pala para sa salad yun...

We asked na lang for another plate para sa pasta, kase nagamit na namin yung plate para sa pasta...

Tapos yung isa muntik pa mag reklamo, kase pag upo namin nakita nya agad yung baso nya na may dahon sa loob, so tinanggal nya baka kase may lumipad lang galing dun sa garden... Pero we noticed na lahat ng baso namin eh meron din... So pinulot nya ulit yung dahon at binalik sa baso nya, "sorry sadyang may dahon pala" sabi nya...

Yung isa naman ginamitan ng tinidor ang bread... ahihihi...

Malinis ang restroom, may towel, soap at toilet tissue...

Malaki ang parking, hanap ka lng ng shaded area para di mainitan car mo on noontime...

Mabilis ang service, laging may available na waiter... laging may refill...

Masarap ang food, Eat all you can for 610 pesos... Inclusions: Bread,Green Salad,Pasta and dessert plus Bottomless Dalandan Juice or Taragon Tea... Its all unlimitted...

Na-enjoy ko yung bread(wheat bread) , it comes with a lot of dips and toppings(6 or 7 ata) pero nagustohan ko lang eh yung basil pesto at white cheese(kesong puti)... meron isa kala ko caviar... sus peppercorn pala... yung isa naman parang ensalada lang...

Tapos yung green salad, the best talaga(fresh na fresh talaga)...

sarap ng dressing(sonya's secret dressing)...

meron pang edible flowers, di ko tinikman feeling ko goat ako, hehehe...

sobrang na-enjoy ko talaga yung salad kaya nung dumating yung pasta parang ayaw ko na kainin dahil sa sobrang kabusugan... di ko na sya na enjoy... antay na lang ko ng dessert...

for the dessert:

1. Glazed sweet potato... pangalan pa lang sosyal na... sus kamote fries lang pala... pero masarap compared dun sa nabibili kapag merienda time dito sa jollijeep sa makati...

2. Banana rolls with sesame & jackfruit... pangmayaman ang dating... eh turon lang pala yun... yun pala yung nakita ko sa kabilang table, kala ko lumpiang shanghai...hehehe... masarap din sya, di sya nakaka umay.

3. Smashingly sinful homemade chocolate cake from the Panaderia(enjoy w/ mint leaves)... sarap din to, di sya super sweet... kahit bawal sa akin chocolate sige lang kain ng kain...

Sarap ng sonya's garden experience, babalik ako doon, dadalin ko asawa ko... meron din kase sila cottages where you can stay overnight and there is a spa also...
